Savvy CargoTrac-Ex, is an incomparably high-performing telematic device for up to 15 years of autonomous use in hazardous areas.

Savvy CargoTrac-Ex is optimised for use in rail freight wagons, containers and IBCs; fleets equipped with the device can be used flexibly, regardless of shipment destination. In addition, Cargo Trac-Ex also provides a safe solution for construction equipment and other tools for M2M applications in a hazardous environment.

The Savvy CargoTrac-Ex device communicates with the Savvy Synergy Portal via an encrypted connection. In addition data communication authentication and integrity check ensure that your operating data is always protected.

  • Safety
    In compliance with 94/9/EC (=ATEX95) containers and machines equipped with Savvy CargoTrac-Ex can pass through Zone 1 and 21 hazardous areas. Because of the occasional danger of explosive gas and dust mixtures in Zone 1 and 21, the device has to meet high safety demands. Savvy CargoTrac-Ex is certified as intrinsic safety protection type Ex II 2 G Ex ib IIB T4 Gb and Ex II 2 D Ex ib IIIC T 135°C Db and therefore meets the high standards.

    Thanks to its compact and robust construction, the high tech telematic unit is perfectly suited for the roughest conditions. Modern HF technology enables continuous positioning (GPS, GLONASS) and, even without external antennae, communication is ensured at all times. Due to this, and in combination with extremely energy-efficient technology, the unit can remain maintenance-free for more than 15 years. Additional protection for the encrypted communication between Savvy Cargo Trac-EX and the Savvy Synergy Portal is provided by authentification and an integrity check.
